| Reggie Doyle reports, the Canoe
trip was a success, there were about 12
members in attendance, and the river was
easy, very little current, all though I now
have to write an article on how to get in
and out of a canoe without getting wet.
Scott and I got wet when we tried to push
off from a stopping place, and thanks to
Todd, we were able to get back in with out
dumping ourselves again. The picnic was fun
- we bbq'd hamburgers and hot dogs, and as
usual there was homemade salads and beans
that were delicious -we could have fed a lot
more then were there. |

| Brian Chouiniere, says: A fun
time was had by all who attended the Canoe
Outing. The wind was a bit sporty but we
made the best of it. We saw heron's, ibis's
and a raccoon, no lions, tigers and bears.
The picnic afterwards at Three Oaks Park was
great. Burgers, dogs, and sausage was the
fair. Cheryl Black made the best beans!
