A good time was had by all at the annual Halloween
Party. We had angels, devils, pirates, sea creatures,
jellyfish, baby's, sailors, farmers, rabbits, and gouls
of all kinds. We even had a visitation of two officers
from P.E.T.O.G. (People for the Ethical Treatment Of
Gourds) who were educating guests and handing out
pamphlets.
The 2nd annual Pumpkin Carving Contest was a hoot.
Weather conditions were better this year than last so we
braved the Gulf waters and carved "IN THE WATER" this
year. With an excellent 2 foot visibility the divers
descended and made the best of the conditions. There
were 9 teams that competed for the coveted medals and
dinner gift certificates to Bonefish Grill. First place
went to Guy & Kitty Willin, followed by John Elkins &
his daughter Lissa in second place. Third place was won
by Bob & Janet Miller. The rest of the competitors were:
Brian & Lynnan Chouiniere, Paul & Marcia Bayard, Joe &
Kay Arcuni, Walter Wilt & Maryann McCampbell, Paul Stiso
& Dottie Olszyk, and Barry & Carmela Donegan.
