Events - Cayo Costa Weekends
 
     From early spring to late fall, and on big holidays like Memorial Day, Labor Day and the 4th of July, you can often find Caloosa Dive Club members rafted together or anchored close by in a variety of boats.

A favorite spot during the good weather is the protected cove of Pelican Bay at Cayo Costa. Sometimes the weekends are planned club events and other times, just something that happens on the spur of the moment.  However it happens, it is great fun and something to put on the calendar if you have a boat.
 

Along with BBQ, fish dinners and leisurely walks on the beautiful beaches of Cayo Costa, we get together for some good diving in the area also.  There are many dive spots in a short distance and it's also a good jumping off spot for some of the further away "northerly" dive sites.

If you're headed that way, we monitor VHF Channel 16 and 68 or you can check the boating list to see who get out of the water long enough to answer their cell phone.
