| As much as we love to dive, we also enjoy good food
and entertainment. During the cooler winter months, when
the water is too cold to jump in, and the wind keeps us
on shore, we find other diversions. |

| Our calendar has many social events and our Awards
Banquet in the fall is the time when the photographers
and spearfishermen are recognized for their efforts
during the year. The bathing suits take a back seat to
fancier dress. Halloween is another dressy event and one
that is very popular with club members - the only rule -
you can't dress up like a diver! |

| For most organized club events, there will be a
signup list passed around several weeks before the
event. Many of the planned parties and dinners are free
to club members but guests are asked to contribute a
small fee to cover the cost of food. |

| People attending are usually asked to bring a side
dish, appetizer or dessert to share with everyone. The
club provides ice, soft drinks and mixers. BYOB is the
general rule unless otherwise announced. For
