24 Club members left Cape Coral & Ft Myers on Saturday June 4 on a dive trip to Bonaire. A short bus ride to Miami, a short visit to Puerto Rico and finally arrival in Bonaire.
A short bus ride to Miami airport. Then a short stop in Puetro Rico & onto Bonaire.

The Dive Club members on this vacation were:

Ron & Leslie Anderson, Joe & Kay Arcuni, Brian & Lynnan Chouiniere, Chris Cross & his son J.C., Jim & Margie Elkins, Rich & Carol Johnson, Ron & Lynne Kemper, Bob & Marcia Mahood, Bob & Janet Miller, Mary & Ron Regnone, Jerry & Margie Ruzicka, Bob & Ruth Sofranko

We had 1 week of 6 boat dives, unlimited shore dives & unlimited dives off the pier at the condo. Eight of us got our Nitrox Certifications during the trip. There were also side trips around the island of Bonaire in our 4 passenger pick up truck.  All had a great time.  The weather was good with sun & cool breezes. The food was great & the drinks were good. But the diving was the best.  Some of the best diving spots ever are just 30 yards from the shoreline.  Some of the members snorkeled and some made dives ranging from 3 to 21.

Thursday night, while you were having the dive club meeting in Cape Coral,  We had our own Caloosa Dive Club meeting in Bonaire. Snacks, drinks & even Joe's famous minutes of the past weeks activities & adventurers were the highlight. It was hard to leave the great time that we were having. We got home late Saturday night on June 11.

Some members are talking of going back to Bonaire due to the great diving and the great  package that was put together by our own members Gene & Terri Dold of Aqua Dreams Travel.
