Rich Johnson, Barry Donegan, and I had a great day
Sunday about 30 miles west and had good hunting for
the spearfishing tourney...We each had 3 dives in
80' - 90' with about 40' of vis...seas were stone
flat and water temp at the bottom was about 70 for
all dives...many mangrove snappers and a mix of
black and gag groupers were taken...some for dinner
some for the fish fry and even a few worth entry
into the contest...all in all a good start to the
spearfishing contest
